When you step into S.A.R.A’s Treasures at 871 River Road
in
Eugene,
you will discover a magical place filled with new and gently used “treasures”
donated by people and businesses that care about animals. There are books, jewelry, knick knacks,
quality clothing, collectibles and much, much more….but the real “treasures”
are the sweet kittens and cats you’ll find living there, after having been
rescued by S.A.R.A. from euthanasia at the Lane County Animal Services (LCAS)
shelter.
Sales
of the donated items provide the major funding of our shelter cat and dog rescue
programs, and it’s a wonderful place for prospective adopters to meet and
spend time with the kitties who are ready for their new “forever” homes.
Please
go through your closets and storage units for items you can donate to help us
save another sweet dog or cat from the shelter, whose fate could otherwise be a
tragic one! Donations are gratefully
accepted at any time during the shop hours:

S.A.R.A.'s Treasures Gift and
Thrift shop is our major fund raiser. The store is located at 871 River
Road in Eugene. We are open everyday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
excluding major holidays.

From the North : From Southbound I-5 take the Beltline Highway West
(exit 195B). Proceed West 4 miles to River Road (exit 8) Proceed South
(left) about 1.5 miles. Look for our bright yellow and red sign: "S.A.R.A.'s
Treasures Gift & Thrift Shop" next to the 7-Eleven and River Road
Sew and Vac.

From the South : From Northbound I-5 Take the I-105/OR-126 (exit
194B) toward Eugene. After 3.7 miles exit right onto W. 6th Ave (Still
OR-126) Proceed .7 miles to Chambers Street. Turn North (Right) on Chambers
Street, which becomes River Road. Continue 1.5 miles, we are on the right
hand side one block past the traffic signal at Park Avenue right next to the
7-Eleven convenience store and River Road Sew and Vac.
